Welcome to the survey: Shaping the future
of AI in academic writing!
AI-based tools for the generation, editing,
and evaluation of texts have changed academic writing dramatically in a short amount
of time. By participating in this survey, you have the opportunity to make
these changes visible and to help shape them. Because only if we know how
and why students use AI tools for writing in their studies, can
universities respond with tailored support services and adjusted
examination formats. The aim of this survey, which connects to our first survey
from 2023 (Hoffmann/Grünebaum/Schmidt 2024), is thus to gather your experiences
with AI tools in academic writing, in order to better adapt teaching and
studying practices to student needs.
Filling out the survey will take about 15
minutes.
Your participation in this survey is of
course voluntary. All data collected will be analyzed anonymously in accordance
with current data protection regulations.
Thank you very much for your time and we
look forward to your answers!
You will likely find first results and
